I've recently taken up the challenge of shooting 1 photo a day for 100 days. This all came about for the mere fact that I've been stressed. We all know the Covid challenges and I, for one, have had a really hard time. My love for connecting with others felt like it's been stripped away. But that wasn't really the catalyst.
The blessing, if there was one, about Covid is that it caused me to do a quick inventory and retrospect of my life. Looking back, I realized how much I miss going on adventures with friends and capturing moments. I don't even entertain the idea that I'm some sort of great photographer. But there are so many aspects of photography I love.
Upon looking back, I realized I have been behind the lens off and on for about a decade. Time freaking flies! I don't always know what I'm doing, but I sometimes get really amazing moments (for me) when I apply the limited knowledge I do have.
Fast forward to 10 days ago, I decided to pick up my camera again and take on the 100 Days Of Photography Challenge. That literally means shooting hundreds of photos a day, picking out one that I actually like and practice my editing as well.
This blog will help keep me accountable.
Below isn't 1/100. But it is one of my favorite photos I've taken to date. So, I guess posting 100 Days Of Photography will start tomorrow. (Caveat: I started 10 days ago so there might be some backfill I'll be doing, here.)
